Without the dot, only people who follow both of you have it show up on their feed. The dot allows it to be seen on the feeds of everyone that follows you regardless of whether or not they follow the other person

He needs to be taught a lesson about respect and humility. Of course, that'll never happen because he's Kanye West, one of the biggest douchebags in all of history (tied with Donald Trump). I hate both of them.
