Say what you want about Tywin Lannister he is my favorite villian in the series. Hes a bad guy with morals, while ruthless he is intellegent and knows that sometimes keeping someone alive is better than killing them.
yeah in one scene his men where torturing and killing prisoners. Tywin shows up, tells off his men, and puts the prisoners to work rather than kill them. At least in the show this happened I don't remember about the books
