I know, but I read one of these articles (not sure if it the same artist), where they said they only used books already badly damaged.

no I mean using an exato blade or any cutting material for an extended period of time hurts

I don't even have to look I know the comments are filled with "but why destroy a book" lol guys they made art they didn't destroy them they made them even more beautiful. Destroying them would be like burning them or tossing them in garbage. Its ok breath besides they only use books already damaged beyond repair.

Yeah, and as I mentioned in earlier comments, most of the artists only use books that were already badly damaged.

As I have mentioned in other comments, the artist uses books that are already badly damaged. So they couldn't be read anyway.
