I have the books lol I just never got around to reading them lol. They are in my to read pile. Which is next to my read again pile. I have book cases it is just well they are all full lol. Well September is far away enough to read them.
It's sort of disappointing that the trailer portrays the book as so happy and upbeat, like its for children. I was drawn to the book because of the fact that it's dark and a little creepy, especially the black and white pictures. It already doesn't look very accurate, seeing the children's ages. This book was pretty twisted and scary at some points. I hope Tim Burtons will include some of this in the movie.
Nobody's going to point out that they fucked shit up! They replaced Emma's fire power with Olive's floating power. They also made Browyn a little girl and Olive the older one and she has Emma's fire power now. So much of this stuff was key to certain points in the story as well as the characters themselves. I'm so fucking mad. Other than that though the movie looks good, and I do like Tim Burton a lot so I hope everything else goes well.
Watchya gonna do
