I would. But I don't think they'd allow it. It would induce panic if something happened.

Privacy glass (smart glass) can change to be opaque with an electric charge. Would that help?

They probably won't even do screens, companies are so cheap they'll just put stickers on clouds on the sides of the wall

Exactly my thoughts, airlines are run by Mr. Krabs or something

I don't think this is likely to happen anytime soon. That would be a complete overhaul of older planes or new fleet. An airline company might buy one for the more wealthy customers who wants that experience, or in a SciFi movie about the year 2112. But the average person just takes a plane because it's faster than a car, not because they want to see the sky and feel like Wonder Woman. Not to say, this isn't an interesting fact, because it is cool.

Walls would be thinner. Not sure if i feel comfortable with that.

It doesn't matter if you feel comfortable as the lack of windows removes massive amounts of stress which means that they can be thinner without losing any structural integrity. Somebody or a bunch of somebodies far more intelligent that you and I have already done all the research to figure this out.

I would fly EVERYwhere if this were the case. Sadly, we can't even keep our airports running smoothly or securely, so I doubt this will happen in my lifetime. At least not without a massive increase in cost.

Apart from flying with a massive BSOD, powerloss would be terrifying.
