Everyone who has a subscription cancelled it, and I know a lot of people who cancelled /all/ of their subscriptions. A lot of people aren't buying marvel things at all anymore
Nick Spencer: I have made a Cap comic.
Literally everyone else: you fucked up a perfectly good character is what you did. look at the fans, they've got anxiety
It's not good BUT there is a chance we will find out that this isn't true and that it's just a cliffhanger of some sorts.
I don't like it either but we need to let them see where this going as, despite this, cinematic Steve Rogers is NOT hydra, that much is plain to see.

Cap would never rest until all of Hydra is gone, so maybe he's on their side as a double agent or something like that, or maybe Hydra would've blackmailed or brainwashed him into thinking that they will hurt whoever he cares about, so he is forced to work for them.
That's what I think! Previously Cap has gone up against and sworn that he will not rest until Hydra is gone and this just completely flattens that belief. All of the cartoons, previous comics and films can be discredited if Marvel takes this route so I have a strong feeling that, even if they weren't planning on changing things, they will now they've seen fan backlash.
I just think it's unfair on the kid who have their rooms decked out in captain america merchendise because they love the hero who hates bullies, they see him as a role model and then they drop this shitty bomb shell.
It shouldn't be always about the money, it should be about the people you inspire and support when you create a hero. Especially in the case of Captain America.
It's like revealing that spiderman likes beating up nerds in back alleys or that Tony Stark uses his weapons to kill refugees when no one is looking.

All my little cousins, brothers and sisters who loved Captain America are now so devastated, they can't believe that Steve is a "bad and evil" guy now.
In the newest Captain America comic that Nick Spencer wrote, he has 'revealed' that Captain America is a Hydra agent despite the fact that Steve fucking rogers has been trying to defeat Hydra for most of his life!
At the end of Civil War, I in no way got the impression the Steve was Hydra. He becomes an outlaw for helping Bucky, but what does that have to do with being Hydra?
In the comic Steve Rogers Captain America vol 1 that just came out he throws a team mate out of an airplane and says "Hail Hydra" and its revealed hes been a Hydra secret agent all along.
Yeah, I've heard about that. But I'm wondering about the link with that (the comics) and the movie, because I just don't see it. There have been quite a few Civil War post in the last few weeks, so I assumed this had something to do with it... Are they two separate things than?
Maybe they're doing this for attention and thus, increased sales.
