He got given 100 lashes for raping her and an extra 40 for consuming alcohol. She was given a suspended sentence and a $840 fine. That's what I read on the BBC News. It's disgusting.
Thats not equivalent to the damage he did to her. She will suffer for the rest of her life. While he will pay his temporary pain away. Jail and a huge chink of his life aka justice will be the only suitable punishment. But i dont expect any more from those savages.
True being lashed is painful and will leave long lasting scars to your body, but compared to being physically and emotionally violated? The comparison is pretty obvious. plus who would sentence a rape victim to death or fine them money for being raped? That's just wrong
Chu youre an ignorant idiot phisical damage is nothing compared to mental damage. The physical damge heals and although it leaves scars, the pain goes away. Mental damage comes back to you reminding you everytime of that pain and suffering. You relive that for the rest of your life. That one moment of pain shapes your behavior for the rest of your life. Please educate yourself so you wont sound so blind and deaf.

No one bothered to check for facts? The woman didn't tell the police she was raped. She told them she was a prostitute and the guy didn't pay her. And when se was jailed, she claimed he raped her.
