There's one in my home county. Every summer they're afraid of going out of business because people come less and less. I don't know why more people don't support these. It keeps children contained, the food is usually delicious, you can watch a movie under the stars, everyone controls their own volume, you can be in your car or on the ground with friends...it's the perfect date night...it's awesome
It's really great, it happens in the summer usually so you have to wait until it gets dark. They usually show two movies, and they show the kids one first so during the break between the two movies all the kids can leave and then comes the second movie. People say the second movie is when the fun begins, but it depends on which drive in you go to. The whole thing ends at around 2 in the morning. To watch, people usually tailgate and turn the radio to a certain frequency in order to gets the movies audio. And there is a snack area with bathrooms somewhere on the premises.

I would really love to go to one but the butthole city I live in wouldn't even think of it lol
It sounds very fun
No your shitty outlook on life does that .your just gonna place it on parking ,I bet even if parking was perfect you would find something else to cry about .
But why? Car seats are less comfortable than cinema seats, plus you have to listen out of speaker from the window of your car. I kind of don't see the appeal, aside from the novelty.

Usually people go in hatch back cars with lots of pillows or sit on a blanket on the ground. And there's usually a radio station to tune into for sound so the window speaker isn't necessary. Also, drive ins aren't always for movies....for some people it's a fun and adventurous "date night". And it's just different than the standard movie theatre. Everyone has their own preferences though
How is it?
It sounds very fun
