Although it's a wonderful concept i can't help but think how terrifying it will be if there is a thunderstorm or some other form of unpleasant weather

Wouldn't that be the best part. I love lightning storms, they're amazing to watch. Just imagine if you could watch one from inside it, that would be awesome, in both the new and old meaning of the word.
