Because the OS is made for dummies. It won't let your phone/computer/tablet/whatever get viruses because it doesn't allow 3rd party programmes. It won't let you go further than its (very limited) functions, it won't let you fuck something up. It's made for idiots and idiots buy it.
I can see the appeal, I suppose, after all it is extremely easy to use, but for anyone with at least basic tech knowledge it just isn't enough, and for anyone with common sense it's overpriced af. Limited things for limited people, I guess.
Yeah I have an android and like it, and am also very aware of the limitations of an iPhone but would consider getting one just bc I don't use my android with any 3rd party software anyway and iPhone has some features that are better. I probably won't though bc of the price

@needmorec4 what features do you mean? I have an iPad (got it as a gift) and an Android phone, and it seems just about the same except for the stuff I described.
