I think the translation is off. The background signage seems to be of a foreign origin.

she donates her hair to make a wig for kids with cancer (whose hair fails out from chemotherapy) since other wigs itch and real human hair looks better

I can explain. I'm guessing OP is german ( so is the poster behind her btw): "spenden" is german for "donate". OP got it confused obviously.

To donnate in german is "spenden", which makes the mistake explainable.

I respect that she did this, but I don't think that to get respect for doing this, she needs to post pictures of it, if she really was a great person, then I think that she could have done this without posting about it.

Maybe it was to bring awesness to the need for such donations. I donated mine a couple months ago. When people asked why I cut it and I told them, they had no clue it was a thing.

I donated my hair once to the Little Princess Trust (also makes wigs for kids with cancer etc.)
