Maybe there IS something there.
Something we have no hope of understanding yet. Something that can absorb all light, radiation, and heat and not give any away.
Is it possible that this is the center of the universe? Could that be where the Big Bang happened? It's empty because everything is traveling away from that spot. We estimate the universe to be about 14 billion years old. Gravity slowed the expansion of the universe for a while. Possibly making up the difference between 14 and 10 billion. (I am not a scientist by any means. I just thought this up instead of studying for my finals)
I'm pretty sure there's no "center" of the universe because all the galaxies are moving away from eachother equally or some shit idk i watched a vsauce video or something on it like a month ago lol. Maybe the origin though? lol i have no idea what im talking about
Bullshit. It's a molecular cloud containing dust. Dust grains have diameters of few micrometers, bigger than the wavelength of visible light, making the cloud opaque at these wavelengths. Look at the very same cloud in the far-infrared, like 1 or 2 THz, and it's totally transparent, and you can see the newly formed stars inside.
