I'd love to be there, but the only reason I was there before was because my parents jobs called for it. Now we mostly just deal with the middle east, but the parts we deal wih are too dangerous to live in for extended periods of time. Now, about testing that lotion...

@spazz I assume you are talking about the early October crash of the GBP which is slowly being corrected now. That crash was attributed human error. Bloomberg Money actually called it a "fat finger" mistake while other theories considered intentional manipulation within the Asian markets for the purpose of profit. Likely scenario is there was an error that some quick acting traders exploited as a money making venture. The drop in the GBP made a lot of money for many in the Hong Kong markets.
The drop in the exchange rate has so far mainly improved exports, which is a good thing, but the effect on imports such as goods like Toblerone has gotten worse. Though, as I've found out, Toblerone insists it's not due to Brexit so I guess you're right in that there's more to the story.
As for the currency being at a near record high, not at all. Pre 2008 the approximate exchange rate was £1 = $2 but now it is £1 = $1.23. You could argue the large portion of the drop was due to the recession, but pre Brexit the exchange rate was approximately $1.33
Sorry but you're wrong. We had a complet trade embargo against Cuba, not just cigars. The kinder egg thing has nothing to do with trade agreements and all to do with an archaic law. We have lots of other Ferraro products here.

The exchange rate has worsened to the point at which manufacturing Toblerone has become a little.more expensive, so, to make up for the loss of chocolate; instead of reducing the length of the bar, they simply made the gap between the segments larger.
