The alternative to Silver-Surfer-Syndrome is to write backwards, or holding your pencil like L from Death Note.
I've never been able to do it well, but my friend is a master at it. He never has icky hands.
How could you write backwards? How would you know how long the sentence will be? I wanted to write in Japanese but then I realised that it's designed for righties as well
What, when you're writing on the right side of the pages? Wouldnt right handed people have the exact same thing but when writing on the left part of the pages?
You have no idea what you're talking about. Scissors that are mentioned above are from elementary school which were designed for handedness and extremely difficult to use with the opposite hand. While adult scissors can be manipulated by either hand, there is no such thing as ambidextrous scissors.
If your left handed your right arm and hand are naturally slightly weaker than your dominant left hand so it'd be harder to control and it'd hurt. Same goes for right handed using left hand.
ok I'm reviving this convo; even if you are left handed YOUR RIGHT HAND IS STILL THERE! ITS STILL WORKS. You can use your right hand in scissors with just a little practice.

-cartridge hits you in the face every time you shoot an automatic rifle.
2. Can't scissors be used by both right and left handed people?
Your right arm will be a little weaker and a bit harder to co-ordinate with.
