On a winding back country road however...
Could be a good narrative device, especially if the season is just right and she is hoping for it to be a romantic country drive.

I actually do have to shift often enough that it's not worth holding anyone's hand, unfortunately. Drives my husband crazy when all he wants is to be sweet. Poor guy
