@riyriamistborn if you know you're gonna buy a lot, just bring several bags. It's better for the environment.

If you have bags to bring, go ahead. They cost money to buy in the first place. I reuse the plastic bags as garbage liners in my bathroom and bedroom.

Yeah they cost money. Once. And then you own them and can re-use them.

And as I said, I reuse the plastic bags. I'm well aware of cloth bags. Wish they didn't cost $5 each.

The ones I'm talking about are plastic too, made mostly from recycled plastic bottles and look like this

You can buy them for 1€ or so at every supermarket. Don't you have them? They also sell cloth bags for only a little more.

Oh we had those at our store for 99¢ but people only wanted them when they were cute

We have so many of those plastic bags. All with random stuff on them.

We use them to store our plastic bottles (which are returned to the store in change for money) or to sort our laundry. Or for grocery shopping.

We use them for groceries and literally anything else

In my place here, everywhere, anytime groceries are bagged :0

I costs very little for your own re-usable bags and does a lot for the enviroment. My mum just brings like 5 bags (6 person family) whenever she shops and puts them in the cart.
