I just think she's a really crap princess. I hate really weak female characters.

Yeah! I think she's useless tbh

She's falling all over herself and crying all the time! I kinda wanna slap her and tell her to grow some lol

I personally like Cinderella tbh
She's patient and has dealt with abuse for years upon years,and when she sees an opportunity to escape the abuse,she takes it

And marries a man who doesnt even recognise her because she's dressed in servant clothing.

She's not weak. She was a young girl trapped in an abusive household. And the prince didn't come to her house.

There's zero reason why either of them couldn't have just packed their things and left. And BTW in the stories the Prince DOES come to Cinderellas house when he's trying to see if the shoe fits the sisters, but she's locked away. She escapes, tries on the shoe and BOOM he recognises her! Why? Because the shoe fits. No other reason.

Perhaps he is has visual impairment. Anyway, escaping those sorts of houses is very difficult.

In old stories disguises were never seen through no matter how simple they were e.g. dressing in different clothes but not changing the face. For instance in Shakespeare plays characters often go about in disguise and nowadays we'd be saying "Why didn't anyone know?" but in Shakespeare's day audiences would have taken it as a given that the disguise was good enough to trick everyone until the character intentionally revealed their true self. When you keep this in mind a lot of stories make a lot more sense.
