Hey pal, as I've said before, no-one's ever alone on Funsubstance.
We're here if you need to get things off your chest, drop us an email (some of us have them on our profile bios) or join the Funsubstance Kik chat
Thank you. That means a lot.
I don't like to talk about it too much, because I hate being needy, or whatever.
I prefer to make others laugh to perk me up instead.
.
I re-upvoted you.
Some people are just Dicks.

You're very welcome and I'm very glad we can make your day a little bit better !
If you ever need to talk to someone, serious or not, just havin' a good time, you can always talk to us !
It does feel that way.
The sense of community here is fabtastic.
I just want people to know, that their posts mean much more than just a little giggle. They offer a great distraction, give you a nice boost, and something else to think about other than the morass.
Even the heated debates are respectful.
Great place to come to when the world is letting us down. I totally agree. Good to read you have your own little happy place here. Keep that in mind at darker days. You're not alone.
I really do hold this place in high regard.
There's such a great mix of people, and everyone seems to have such a marvellous intellect.
This is my first port of call when I'm feeling down.
This, and puppy videos on YouTube.
When I'm here, I don't feel alone.
I remember what laughter feels like.
@kingswitcherii This site has amazing forums on anything and everything mental health. I've been using it for a few weeks and it's awesome. Wish I would have had it 6 months ago when I got hit hard with depression.

Im actually excited. I saw my orthopedic surgeon last week and he said he can save my knee. So tomorrow I'll hopefully have a date to replace my knee instead of amputating again. Ive been stuck in the mud for a year now trying to correct my physical and mental state. How are you doing?
Oh man, that's great news.
That's really made me smile, and hopefully others too!
.
Are you any closer to progressing yourself? I trust this will give you that push to realise that there's always hope.
I'm good today. I've finally said goodbye to a really messy breakup that was supposed to be forever.
Took about 6 months to finally cut my losses, and turn my back in the whole thing. The problem with things like this is that it wrecked my confidence.
It's really hard not to feel worthless.
But that's why I love this place.
You all fill me with such positivity!
Well, I hope at least some of my posts made you smile. I fear that some may have been an... unfortunate reminder.
That said, you're welcome. It pleases me that you have found an internet home here. In one way or another, just about everyone here is pretty cool. Even the fuckwits and knobheads have their moments
I think yours are some of my favourite buddy. They're quite grounding.
Sometimes my depression, coupled with other issues cause me to be a little narcissistic (manic depression, social anxiety, and lead singer over confidence/arrogance/neediness...figure that one out!)
.
I can be a Dick too, but I'm only human.
I like the way that wet can all disagree, but come together to help others.
I'll always be here if you need a chat.
Thanks!
Trust me, I'm familiar with depression manifesting in... odd ways. My first noteable bout was manic/depressive with moments of nearly catatonic despair & futility.
Then it came back and manifested as anger and inexplicable rage.
I've even been medicated for it on two occasions.
Probably should still be.
**gasp**
smitty admitted to having depression!
Really shouldn't surprise you guys honestly.
Glad it helps you out! We're all here if you need us bud
It's a pretty great community full of pretty great people so very happy you're a part of it :)
I'm honoured to be a part of it.
The jism-monkeys, and skunk-pussies seem to have been weeded out, so it's a great place to be, especially when I'm feeling down.
Yeah you get the odd dickhead but it's funny watching everyone take them down with extreme sarcasm
(Your names for them made me laugh, I have never heard those before ahah)
I do love the dry wit on here that knocks people of their perch.
As for the insults, they're not mine;
Go to YouTube and see if you can find an old 90s British comedy called "game on". The main character Matt always uses them.
The second one is from taxi driver though.
