I always see a ton of comparisons between breasts and balls/cocks and its infuriating. Obviously there's a difference between adjusting your bra and scratching your balls in public, one is adjusting an article of clothing while the other is touching your genitals in public. Breasts aren't genitals its the equivalent of touching your chest skin, if a woman shoves her hands down her panties in public it would just as disgusting as when a man does it. If you gotta touch your genitals do it at home and wash your hands, but touching boob/bra does not equal touching genitals. Bras are uncomfortable and difficult to hide, they suck, so if someone has a problem with looking at my bra they can look away.
Here's my thought process on bra straps: " I like that color..I bet that's a cute bra...she's kind of cute herself....she probably looks sexy in that bra...she looks to be about a (insert cup size)...I bet they're soft..I wonder what her nipples look like...I want to touch"
My thought process on boxers: "Those are a nice color." Or "my husband has those"
I don't immediately think about sex and touching her boobs..in fact I never mentioned sex at all :/ That's what I think over the course of a couple minutes while standing in line at the store or wherever I am. I'm a human and sometimes my mind wanders to places of a sexual nature. I don't see how that's an issue
Just sometimes. Even if it was all the time though I don't see the issue...I'm not acting on my thoughts and grabbing them, I'm not standing there gawking at them, and it's not something that affects anyone. It's just something that I sometimes notice and sometimes my mind wanders then 5 minutes later I've forgotten all about it.
I have a sock fetish haha
I'm sorry, I don't understand where you got that. I never said anyone should change. I never even hinted at that and I don't think they should. I'm not against bra straps showing (which based off my other comments in this post I would think is obvious) and I don't think they're super distracting either. My original comment while truthful was really just meant to be funny. I'm sure a lot of people here have noticed that my attempts on humor often fail haha x_x
Do little 14 year old skanks realize that school is for learning and studying? There's plenty of time to be dumb and half naked and a trophy wife later, at least give yourself the chance to be your own person before you take the sleazy way out.
I agree school is for learning but you don't have to be half naked for bra straps to show. They stick out of certain shirts like tank tops. Or if the straps cross in the back

Appropriate attire in the workplace. I was fired from my job at the bank because I wore my juggalo makeup to work, it's like, why can't I just wear whatever I want wherever I want and whenever I want and everyone can just deal.
There's a life lesson about societal norms that's these Tweens just aren't getting, it's not about oppression it's about not being socially retarded.
My bra strap shows at work by accident all the time. It's the nature of a lot of women's tops these days. The life lesson is that hey, most adults ARE adults, and they can handle an accidental bra strap flash without having a stroke. If you can't handle an accidental bra strap flash without having a stroke, you probably shouldn't be in the work force at all.
Yes but is a tank top not appropriate? Not a thin little spaghetti strap but a normal tank top. Or a shirt with a wider neck(not low cut) Is that not appropriate? Wearing juggalo makeup to work in a bank is not the same It's a silly exaggeration. As a parent I don't approve of the short shorts and half shirts or tube tops even outside of school
I wear T-Shirts to school all the time. My sleeves slip sometimes while I'm walking, and oh no, there's a bra strap. And I still get dresscoded. Sometimes it's not girls being sluts, it's just the fact that they are wearing clothes that, woah, what a surprise, move around and are not uniform to your body?? A bra strap should be acceptable in society. It is not scandalous. It should be no surprise to men that women have to wear underwear.
Seriously. Try finding women's clothing that's A) made of the right material for the weather, B) looks good on your body shape, and C) doesn't move around ever. Pretty much only exists in places that are out of my tax bracket to shop. If women's bra straps are all it takes to upset a guy, clearly that guy is too emotional to be allowed any shred of real responsibility. Back to the garage with you.

I was sitting here thinking "No dude thinks bra straps are distracting, that's seriously just the schools," until I read this comment.
