The "appropriation" argument is horse shit in the first place. No one owns or has authority over culture, so of course any transfer of culture is going to be appropriation by definition.
They don't always see that they don't need a double lid or a high arch to be beautiful

I've heard (but correct me if I'm wrong) people in Japan like the way English sounds and they think English speaking people are cool. Like how Americans think British accents are cool
