When I was pregnant my nephews wanted to know my due date. I told them and one of them says "No, that's not right." I asked if he thought the doctor calculated wrong and he said "No but your baby is going to be late." I asked how late and he said one week(7 days). My due date arrived and nothing. A week later I go into labor and I think Oh wow, he was right but didn't think much of it. I later learned that the day I went into labor he went to his mom and said "J's having her baby today. He'll be here in a few hours." Out of curiosity my sis in law calls to see how I'm doing and my husband tells her the baby is on its way. We were all amazed and a little freaked out.
I used to live in a long house that had a medium sized room near the back. We always kept the door open to it, because our animals liked to go in there and sleep. The room was only used for storage, and due to blackout blinds, generally wasn't very well lit. One day, my 4 year old niece comes over to play, and she keeps looking through the door at this darkened room. Thinking nothing of it, I just disregard it, until it's time to leave, and she waves at it. I ask her why she did that, and she just says, "I'm saying goodbye to the monster." I've never been more freaked out in my life.
I love this stuff SO much
Number 1 because I love the idea of ghosts and spirits
Number 2 because kids, kids seem powerful before reality and responsibilities set in
I live in Bartow florida about 4 blocks from the house that My Girl was filmed in. Its haunted by a ghost named MerMeiweather. She died in a white, flowing gown in her room. My best friend lived there for 5years bc his mom and dad turned it into a bed and breakfast. One night, two gays guys were staying in the room where Meriweather died. One of the guys woke up in the middle of the night to discover Meriweather standing at the foot of the bed, pointing at the door while mouthing the words "get out". He was so freaked out that they left in the middle of the night. They left their credit card on the dresser with a note telling what happend.
Another story is that my friends dad was renovating the house before they moved in. He went through 3 remodeling companies because when they would take lunch breaks, a woman would call for my friend and his dad to come upstairs in the voice of my friends mom. Problem is she was in Miami at the time. Also there is a two story guest house on the property. The cleaning lady was coming down the stairs and heard a voice saying "get out!". She then felt a cold wind blow at her back and was shoved down the flight of stairs and broke her arm. Problem is the A/C was broken for 3 days prior. She refused to go back in the guest house but still cleaned the My Girl house. One night she stayed in a room that had windows that faced the guest house. In the middle of the night her bed started to shake so violently that it woke up all of us in the house. She quit right then and there.
My dad told me a story where my little brother woke up at 3am and played on his plastic motor bike.. when my dad went out to find out what on earth he's doing my brother explained that a he was playing with a man and described my grandfather perfectly... problem is my Granpa passed away while my step mom was 6 months pregnant with my brother....
