You know she is right on one thing a skinny person wouldn't be asked if they are healthy when they say they like their body. And yes people always assume you are unhealthy if you are fat. But that isnt always the case. Sometimes you are just fat. And yes that might give you higher risk of health issues. But the same goes for someone to skinny. They may appear healthy but they have high risk of health issues as well that is why Anorexia is such a big issue.
I feel everyone should go to a doctor regularly to make sure if they are healthy and what they need to do to be a better them. And if you do feel like your body is how you want to look than ask them is there a way to be healthier and still not loss or gain weight.
I am considered overweight. Yet, I am healthy, and I can still run the mile and a half in my 12 minute timeframe. I don't enjoy it, but the again, I've never enjoyed running. My cholesterol is at a good number, and my blood pressure is amazing. I eat average food, but I work out. I just don't work put enough to take the extra fat off. I'm in a good healthy condition.
Not true miss collector, in my experience it's always been perfectly acceptable for any random twat to ask me "why are you so skinny?" Or to exclaim "you're so skinny, you need to eat!" when in fact I eat ALOT BUT due to a very high metabolism I am not able to gain much weight but am still very healthy for my body structure. In reverse it is not a socially accepted response to say back "why are you so fat?!" Or "whoa you're so fat! You need to eat less!" Not once.
I've experienced the same things. Strangers have come up to me at work telling me "oh you're so skinny eat a burger" and I've had family friends ask if they should be worried about me. Yet it wouldn't be okay to up to someone who might be overweight and say "wow you're so fat eat a carrot"
Yes
Whenever I go out for a meal, people look at me and go ''woah you're so tiny'' then look at my plate eyes wide open ''but you eat a lot''
One more word and I will eat them too
(almost) Everyone here is like that
Saying someone is overweight is so fucking rude
But comment on people being small and that they need to start drinking fat is totally acceptable
My aunt is overweight and my cousins are too, but no one bats an eye when them when they eat the whole plate of meat
But telling me that if I have been starving myself on purpose (I never starve myself) is ''caring''
No what you guys are experincing is diffrent. They are comenting on not if you are healthy but about your size. I was referring how when a fat person says "I like my body and I like the way I look." Someone always has to say but are you healthy or have you seen a doctor. It always goes to health. But if a skinny person says "I like my body I like the way I look." Do they ever hear but are you healthy or have you seen a doctor? When some people who are skinny do not realize how thin they are maybe a health risk.
I mean look here are just some problems:
Delayed growth and development
Fragile bones
Weakened immune system
Anemia
Fertility issues
Hair loss
There is no healthy size there is no way to fully escape health risk. I have a very high chance I will have Demntia and/or Alzheimer. I might die from heart failure. Skinny or fat.
All I am saying is find out what makes you happy but do see a doctor regularly.
Jenny.....you dumb fuck. Did she just say she WANTS to be unhealthy? All of a sudden being healthy and wanting to keep your body at its best is a problem called 'Healthism'?!
I could not have stayed quiet like he did, that poor guy
He's like ''fuck you, Jenny. Go eat all the fatty and die of heart disease''
