Pardoned. There's this catholic hymn in which they hold "Gloria" for quite a few measures, I can't remember exactly but that's where the joke came from
Fun fact. Gloria in Excelsis Deo appears in multiple Christmas carols, and was originally a hymn sang during various Christian times, including Lent. That is why many associate it with Catholics.
I had to sing it for choir in my catholic school, so I always associated it with Christianity until a few years ago when I found it wasn't just an "exclusive to them" kind of thing.
Glooooooooooh, OOOOOoooooh, OOOOOOOOoooh, ria in Excelsis Deeee, eee, ooo.
I was born in a Catholic country but no one forced me to go to church, I went to study in England for 2 years and I had to go to church 4 times per week
Glooooooooooh, OOOOOoooooh, OOOOOOOOoooh, ria in Excelsis Deeee, eee, ooo.
Or, you know, normal humans who don't have the lung capacity of whale like the song demands.
