Well I like it. You don't. I know it has plotholes and stupid decisions(which I also dislike) but which series or movies doesn't have them, and it still keeps my interest in it. So I watch it. Some people say movies by Tarantino are shit, some call it art. So yeah different people different opinions.
Everything I've ever watched has those. I've had to learn to deal with it(mostly), but the flash is on a whole other level. More like five whole levels, really.

To you, yes. And maybe what you say is really true to other people too. But I still like it and I still haven't got a valid point (in my eyes) to stop watching it or disliking it.
I believe they called it The Department of the Exterior, not sure... but their spokesperson (and director?) said in their statement that we are all neighbors here on the Gulf Coast.
Now, it is completely and entirely possible that the media completely downplayed and ignored their participation... but it is also possible that Mexico may have asked to not "make a big deal" about it. Intending it to not be participation for posturing, but because it was the right thing to do.
Case in point: did you know that South Korea and Japan had troops deployed to the Gulf during OIF/OEF? Granted, it was small scale and largely in support of the coalition, but they participated.

I remember this, they are currently helping now. That's what neighbors do help in time of need not build the fence higher
Katrina was in 2005.
Assuming this was posted this year, you would have only had 12 years to not know about Mexico's relief effort.
Don't feel bad about not knowing that all 26 years of you living, you had a full 14 years to not know that in good conscience.
Turkey and Greece have been history-long enemies. However, every time a quake hits Turkey, you can be sure the first boots + paws on the ground are those of Greek first responders. And when Greece gets hit first, it's vice-versa.
Only in America would one presume to think that disaster relief comes in the form of "true-blooded Americans".
