**heavy sigh**
Great, sad vaginas. That's hilarious, but I'm about to be a wet blanket and a huge stick in the mud.
The article was written by a woman... but I can't get past the idea that it is based on a study conducted by men desperate to try coming up with another scientific reason reason it's important to get laid.
I find it incredibly difficult to believe and take these "studies" seriously. Guys, we get it. You're horny and need to get laid. First it was prostate health and cancer. Then it was depression, dementia, heart disease... a while host "reasons" sex is "good" for you.
How about you try getting out of the lab once in a while first before you try making science your wingman?
Never mind the fact that is likely another case of poor science reporting where the content of the article doesn't even come close to the same conclusion of the paper... if they even read it.
Girls do want it as much as guys and there is some legitimate science behind sex and mental health, like your body releasing endorphin and adrenaline and such. But what I believe smitty is talking about is guys making up pseudo-scientific reasons in an attempt to lower women's standards, where I fully agree with him/her because it is low and pathetic. "But sex is good for you!" thanks but I still have standards. I won't sleep with some rando I just met because he threw some pseudo science at me, that's not how it works.
Yes, I am referring to the pseudoscience fucknbois, but I'm also referring to the pent up lab nurds that desperately need to get laid... who's research gets used, abused and twisted by both the aforementioned fuckbois and by the media who misinterperate and misreport it.
I also prefaced my rant with I'm gonna be a wet towel and a stick in the mud, so whatever.

That's it right there.
