And stories usually have explanations for things that couldn't exist in the real world? And this whole post is about them thinking the others thought is bogus, I'm just providing an explanation no matter if I believe one or the other
The second is incorrect, you can't pass down tans genetically. Humans with darker/lighter skin were at an advantage in certain places. The ones with the advantage survived and reproduced more.

And for the last time. WE HAVE NOT EVOLVED FROM MONKEYS. WE SHARED A COMMON ANCESTOR. THAT'S WHY THE MONKEYS NEVER BECAME HUMANS. It's Basic Biology.
Adam and Eve both had a few recessive genes for skin color and weren't white in the first place. Duhhhhhh
Or genetic mutation... but still.. 6000 years.
What I find hilarious is that 6000 years is about 350 generations.. in 6000 years colonization from western europe, across asia, to the americas then to the east coast of america isn't possible unless you actually expected people to be building a new settlement over 20 miles away in more than one direction, at a rate faster than a generation. Or I guess you could just believe the Earth is smaller than it is, whatever.

Genetic variation. Even if you aren't religious, science says this happens.
its not about if you aren't religious, it's about if you are. Remember, most of them are in denial about this since that's the process by which evolution works.

You can be religious and still believe in evolution.
I believe modern man descended from Adam and Eve, yes. I do not discount the existence of Neanderthals, or evolution. But I also think a lot of science would be taken with a grain of salt, because science is still learning. New facts are discovered every day as studies unearth new data, and theories change. Even Darwin himself didn't believe apes and people came from a common ancestor.
Yet it is idiotic and completely against science to not follow the currently accepted ideas simply because things have been wrong before. That just gives you free reign to believe whatever the hell you want.
Exactly. My point being that Darwin was wrong on some things, including that he thought that apes and people did not come from a common ancestor. My point to riyriamistborn being that Darwin's word was not law or truth. He is no god that we follow.
Didn't evolve from monkeys, but an ansestor to monkeys which also split into different branches and also then interbred. Basically we're a sort of mix of similar species that branched from one other species long long ago.
once they branched off interbreeding becomes less and less likely as time goes on. Look at Neanderthals. We were right on the cusp of not being able to breed with them, to the point that there is an argument on if we are the same species (species cannot breed with other species and create offspring that can go on to reproduce further, like lions and tigers can breed, but a liger is infertile) since we obviously did interbreed with viable offspring.... nearly every European has traces of Neanderthal DNA.... Neanderthal's might just be extreme humans.... but the same species?
Well, in the bible, Adam and eve were born in paradise. When they ate the apple, they were cast out. After eating it, they became aware if all the bad things, like being naked, sinning, and most likely racism.
Eve was told by a serpent, who may or may not have been the devil, to eat a forbidden thing. Eve ate it and was like shiiit this is great and gave it to Adam. When he ate it a bit got lodged in his throat (explains why men have Adams apples hee hees) and God was like "WHAT THE FUCK DID I JUST SAY??" and banished them and their children from paradise 5ever

Here's what I don't get: they had no concept of good and evil, right? How were they supposed to know that disobeying god is bad?
Also, why would you put something forbidden there when you made people with free will and curiosity, it's kinda like he set it up
There s a lot of inconsistencies with the bible. Like, on the first day God separated light from darkness, but on the second or third day he made the sun and stars. Where did the light come from if nokt sun and stars?
.
Also, Abraham and his half sister (Sarai?) Get married with God's blessings, but later states incest is wrong
.
The bible also states that God is a man if war and is wrathful, but also says he's loving and forgiving
.
God is faithful, holy, and true, but he also created evil
Adam did have a first wife, Lilith... who knows how many kids they had. Also it says their offspring went out and reproduced, they didn't reproduce with each other.
Just playing devil's advocate, it's just amazing anyone ever actually took it literally considering the mammoth holes in the story.
Adam and Eve maybe were diverse? Just because European painters in the 1500s painted them as white, maybe one was black and the other was ginger, leading to what we now think of as races (although we are the human race). If you can get from non living slime to single cell organisms to vertebrates, getting from two people to many people (still people but with different skin color, lip sizes and eye folds) shouldn't be difficult at all.

Thing is, many people who believe the adam and eve story don’t believe abiogenisis, so the point about race diversity being easy compared to that is a bit moot
2. Their kids went and got serious tans and passed those tans onto their kids

Because we adapted to different climates
But hey... fucking facts! :D
