While I agree he tooth brushes where the pioneers, it's a lot harder to get wireless charging for mobile devices, so it was a pretty big deal when pulse and Nokia pulled it off
No cables to screw around with plugging into your phone anymore. No need to worry about the cable getting screwed up and damaged.
Set your phone down on the stand and done.
That's good to know... and news to me to be honest. In the bathroom is probably the FIRST place you want contactless/wireless charging when you think about it.
All you have to do is build half a transformer into the device and the other half into the charging pad, BOOM magnetic induction... But it's never as efficient as direct electrical contact because the transformer core is now in two pieces and a lot of the magnetic field leaks from the edges.
Yes all well and good but I’ve just forked out 950 quid on an iphone8+ and all they provide is the standard charging lead, no pad. Needless to say, I feel that I have been royally ripped off by the great god Apple. Thanks guys, next time it’s going to be a Samsung.

I smell a lawsuit.
