That's not really a fair comparison, as with a lot of android phones you can specifically alter the setting with a mode called "professional mode"

This was taken from a camera comparison on CNET. It states "Both phones were left on the default settings unless otherwise stated with automatic exposure and focus." So you would be correct that they were both set to auto with default settings.

this is fake though, one thing is that can't relate what is more lifelike. But they are the same photo, using two different cameras to take a photo of the same subject would alter the angle slightly, but the photos are identical
