Intentionally infecting someone should be treated as premeditated murder. That California thinks otherwise is just another point to how screwed up that state's priorities are.
Before California joined the club 16 other states including Alabama already had laws treating intentionally giving aids as misdemeanors. In fact in Alabama the maximum sentence is 3 months. In New York it is treated as second degree wreckless endangerment with a max of about 1 year, likely served less (since 1st degree carries a sentence of 2-7 years.) Singling out California is a bit narrow in scope.
Even the gods changed it.
But he is a bit evil for infecting men with the disease that will ruin their lives.
