Here is a fun fact: As could be expected from a schizophrenic anti establishment conspiracy theorist talking to himself: this is grade A bull crap.
1. "Oxygen masks" contain a mix of gasses, not pure oxygen.
2. Hypoxia (lack of oxygen) will take effect within minutes at high altitude because of low pressure and thin oxygen. Without the mask you will feel nausea, headaches, and euphoria. With the mask, no euphoria, you may get a tad chilly, and your ears will probably pop. That's it. Airlines don't need you to be compliant. The cockpit is sealed, and following the rapid decompression the pilots will QUICKLY descen to no higher than 10,000 feet (except over mountains etc where it's a slower stages decent.) Durring this period you'll have trouble standing let alone causing mayhem.
So no, Tyler isn't a trustworthy source. Still a good movie though.

Of course Tyler isn't a trustworthy source. He is a figment of imagination of a person who is highly depressed. That person sees deep and depressing Shit everywhere
It should be self evident. Lol. Sometimes people quote the movie for fun, sometimes they say this in a mocking fashion, but surprisingly enough I've encountered enough people who think it's true that it may not be as common knowledge as one would think. Either way, for those unaware I figured I'd post this to help stop the spread of misinformation.
Are you kidding me? Please tell me this is a joke.
But, I can't blame you. Sometimes it happens. I didn't knew a scene from The Office so.
The movie is Fight Club.
Also @title Then*
