Ok- but- does that mean that police will have to take fashion training? Like how do they know ifthe guy with the ripped up clothes and duct taped shoes, with the long unkempt beard is a homeless guy or a Silicon Valley millionaire in Kanyes line and golden goose superstars? And does this only apply to people who look too poor or who are too poor? Like if you make $100k a year and wear $5000+ suits, is that too poor to afford it? So like- do they have to strip politicians in the street too or celebrities who wear things their salaries can't actually afford?

I don't think the Dutch police have jurisdiction in Silicon Valley. I know it's cool to think that only Americans do,stupid things, but in this case it's another country trying to reduce shoplifting, not the US.
