She set her other hand on the wrong side of the little black clamp thing.
That thing makes it so the pitch is higher because there's less length of string to vibrate. The hand resting on the arm is used to change the pitch in increments mid-song. With her hand on the other side, it wouldn't be able to do that and she wouldn't be able to play.
wouldn't they still make an extremely high pitched sound though? Perhaps she is trying to do some sort of screeching sound or something <_< It's crazy how they make up some sounds that go into movies after all.
I mean... she'd be plucking on the short side, so then idky her other hand is though. Idk...
It would still make noise but it would be the equivalent of strumming a guitar without making any chord. Unless she had it tuned to an open chord it would not sound good.
she try make ping ping to doot doot but because black no no change noise is there she would have to be in front of it, but shes behind it so instead of making ping to doot she just makes ping to ping, i'm sorry i laughed way too hard writing that but pressing down strings changes the pitch of that string if you are pressing down the strings with a capo it isnt necessary to also press them down above it because nothing will change

TLDR:
She's holding it wrong. Very wrong.
