I know you're strong, but you should bring that guest- as moral support. Just in case.

No it doesn't nicotine doesn't hang around in the body it is metabolized by the liver relatively quickly and this could actually make the liver work slower as saunas can make you dehydrated and that will slow the liver down

But then that's just the placebo affect not the sauna actually doing anything to get the nicotine out

I smoke, I can tell you that 90% of the addiction is the physical act of smoking.

And i can tell you that too i quit not too long ago with the help of an ecig i am now on 0% nicotine eliquids and am slowly coming off them too but that is not the point the claim that saunas get the nicotine out is bollocks

Sweat does not contain any verifiable toxins. Sweat is basically just salty water and the human body is not able to detox by sweating.

I believe some heavy metals can come out in sweat but if you had them in your system you would probably want to go to a doctor or hospital not a sauna

Nicotine will leave the body after about 3 days ad long as you do almost anything besides smoke in that time. There's really notthing proven to make a difference in that process. However, relaxing, being places you can't smoke or that you didn't used to smoke (aka: triggers), keeping the mind off of smoking- these are all techniques that can help. Most will go through withdrawal symptoms while quitting too, so things that make you feel good can help you cope with withdrawal and make it through. But yeah- like a good 80%+ quit smoking "gimmicks" this is scientifically crap. For most people there is no "magic" easy cure to quit. You just have to find whatever can get you through.
