We do interact with people. Infact we are talking to people now we would never ever have been able to talk to just under 50 years ago. We are able to find more people who share our interest and find people who we can argue about politics and religion and have no worries of ever seeing them face to face after pissing them off. lol There use to be this rule while at a party, work, or with distant family. You don't talk about Politics or Religion. All for the fact you will have to face them after and it is hard to do if you don't agree.
Yes when with people we need to talk with them and put down the phone but to say we are not communicating is such a far fetch.
Bruh tf me and my friends talk in person and i never pull my phone out during a basketball game yall exaggerate this and act like all of us are glued to these for life
The thing that concerns and pisses me off is the fact that the driver of the car (in the last picture) is on the phone. Don’t text and drive, people!
Let's ignore that this quote was never uttered on record by Einstein, and really the closest thing to it was his fear that instead of using it for peace we would destroy ourselves with nuclear weapons (a far cry from avid phone use in severity)- I'm communicating with people right now from all over the world. Face time, skype, and other technology allow researchers to collaborate across the globe, soldiers to see their babies while deployed, doctors to discuss treatments. Einstein did say (in paraphrase) that memorization of easily looked up facts wasn't a sign of intelligence- in other words: from your phone you can instantly answer most simple questions. Having meaningful interactions is only helped by technology when we use that technology for such purposes. We can ignore each other or have meaningless contact fine with or without. People have been discussing the weather for long before phones.
