I haven't had to use turnitin in like 5 years, but I still think it matches citations and even if it didn't, I feel like a 0% would also be suspicious.

The other option is to actually write your own paper, and not plagiarize.

Yeah I figured this one out myself it's pretty useful

A 0% match would be even worse because then that would ostensibly mean you didn’t quote anything (which you almost always need to for a college paper)

my personal record was like 22%. My sources list was 2 pages long

Last year it started marking my last name as copied so a 0% is a large now from me
