I'm assuming that you'd want something from the top, since that's the colour whiskey usually is.

Do you mean the clear colored one and the light yellow ones because EVERY whiskey I ever seen is the bottom shelf.

No because that's essentially raw alcohol. May as well drink Everclear. You want whiskey aged, mellowed, and with body and flavor.
