Is...is he the teacher, or is it one of those "78 year old missed graduating high school because of enlisting in the army but goes back 60 years later to get the diploma" situations? I mean, it's not fair to the other French students if that guy was trading chocolate and nylons to actual French ladies after VE Day.

thats cool but in all honesty i always personally thought that it kind of took away from how special it is when people do it out of pity or for an entire class.
