No, I wash all underwear and socks together in hot hot water. Its the only thing I wash on hot because hot not only does more wear on the fabric but uses more energy. You really don't want to wash them with towels because towels, by design, absorb more than regular cottons ect, and so they will absorb some of the soiling as they are agitated in the wash. Towels are best washed with towels as a rule, or clothing that has limited soilage.
do you not use soap? Anything that can harm you from any of that is going to be dead after 45 minutes - 1 hr in soapy water, regardless of the temperature.
Hell; air drying outside would be more of a threat.
What washing machine do you use that takes an hour? Also, that's not even remotely true. In boiling water, yes, but not just warm and definitely not cold. It's not like germs or bacteria drown, otherwise how would they even survive in the human body, let alone thrive.
Have had the same one for about 10 years and the dryer for 20. Just have been taking good care of both. My weekends are slow to begin with... never had the need for insta-dry shit.
Anyway... there is this thing called a lipid bi-layer. Soap makes them explode... that's why anti-bacterial soap is a sham. If your spaceship explodes in half by just coming in contact with the atmosphere it makes invasion difficult.
Someone must like the tiedye effect on clothes. You wash them separately at least for the first several washes. To make sure any excess dyes don't leak out in the wash and ruin other clothes. Or maybe they only wear one color
Hahahaha no I have 4 tshirts 2 jeans and a jacket (and it's because we're poor) no I guess we have just gotten lucky .luckily I have a uniform at my school so I don't have to worry about wearing the same thing everyday because everyone wears the same thing everyday lol
Never do this with new clothing, but I have plenty of clothes I’ve been washing for years, so there’s no color leakage when I wash a bunch of stuff together.
My husband does the whites load. I get horrible migraines from the smell of bleach so he takes care of that part. I do the rest in mixed loads on cold. (All towels are white)
Do not do it.
