Let's be real.. The new harvest moon (light of hope etc) games are trash. I buyed it, tested it for a few minutes and refunded it instantly. Shitty story (if there is even one), graphic looks like a shitty free smartphone game, price way too high for what they deliver.. It's just trash. I wanted a good new harvest moon.. And then they released such a trash game.. I'm sad. So it's nice that there is stardew valley.. Way (!) better.

after the update stardew valley even got better, but harvest moon LOH don't even have unique text messages for each npc etc.. it's just dumb & have no soul :/

well, other people who had a longer playtime did experienced the same. the problem with the new harvest moon is that the developers seem to be lazy. npc texts are global shared.. this means that the same answer can be given by different npcs. then the graphic style.. it just looks wrong and bad. and most of the good features even not even got implemented.. impprtant features who made harvest moon what a hm game should be like. then there are the savegame bugs where your savegame suddenly gets renoved and all what you did is reset.. the whole game is just a mess. like the devslopers are lazy or don't know wtf they are doing.
for someone who don't have a job & not much money, this price is high. and if you look at how much is wrong with that game, the price is way too much. there are free games who are better & have less bugs.. better graphics etc. than this game. i really love harvest moon.. i'm sad how they destroyed our harvest moon genre with such a bs.. and the price for the computer version is even higher (30€).. so yeah :/
p.s: it's not even have translations for other languages like every other harvest moon always had. there is just a english version. they are just lazy / want to save money in developement process..
you really should try it :) i even would say it's better than harvest moon friends of mineral town (my favorite harvest moon game) because there are way more features like fighting monsters etc. in it
