that'll be true, they have limited time to clean and prepare for the next showing, this usually happens when the credits start rolling, people waiting to see the end credits scene means they lose 15-20 minutes of clean up time
As a former cinema worker, yeah, people staying through the credits really makes it difficult to turn the auditorium around in time for the next showing. Especially for movies like marvel movies, which are long, and have super long credits, and very short periods between showings because they're trying to squeeze in an extra showing at the end of the night.
