The suffragettes were racist cunts who only fought for white woman's rights so to say they fought for all women is revisionist and counter productive when looking for examples if fighters for equality.
No one in history is perfect. So while I get what you're saying we shouldn't forget what they did but also not act like those acts are discounted for what we now shun.
