I have heard of some cases where someone will donate thier kidney even though they don't match but the people they are donating for gets bumped up the list for the next kidney.
I'm sorry but that's bullshit, you can truly love someone even if some older people have a chance to prove their love more strongly. It's like saying your father doesn't love you because he never dived to save you from drowning, maybe it's true, but maybe you just never were close to drowning.
