This only means memes are more popular on the internet. I just did a quick google trend of my own and "Bible" is searched more than memes.

No offense to Jesus but his religion has made life hell for a lot of people through the ages

It’s also made life more bearable and meaningful for others. To each their own.

Anyone can twist anything. When nuclear fission was discovered by Otto Hahn in 1938 the research team thought only about the emissions being used as a possible source of limitless, free energy for the world. Kind of took a different direction though once the German government militarized the project. After hearing how his research lead to Hiroshima he attempted suicide. Something can have a very powerful, very peaceful purpose but be corrupted by others.

Jesus wasn’t exactly part of the “in-crowd” even when he was alive.

To be fair, why would I really need to look up Jesus Christ when I know who he is and what he does?
