Hmmm, good point. Philosophically I'm more towards Tupac as a winner. His comment about mega-homeless shelters versus mega-churches has always stuck with me.
He's the best of the rapping genre in the same way Michael Jackson is the king of pop. Sure, there are nicer people who release to that genre, but somehow they find themselves at the top of their own respective genres.
Just think what would have happen if he had a loving home and lived in a good neighborhood. If he lived where he never had to worry about the guns on the streets or the drugs in his home. He wouldn't have became the man we all know today.
He could have been a man in an office or a doctor or lawyer or maybe a teacher.
But he was delt the card of pain and suffering so one day he could show others there is a way out.
Because some people like him who live through hell all their life use it to fuel their rockets out of there. While others rather fester in the muck and choose to shovel the shit higher.
Put down the shovels and build yourself a rocket.
