My family gets mad when I tell them I dont like Christmas, but they're the reasons I hate it. They get so mad that I'm too broke to afford to buy gifts

I have a cousin that every year gave a little slip of paper saying a donation was placed in your name... than she add some cause like for animals or feeding the hungry or homes for the poor. I asked her what was the name of the place she donated to so I can donate more. She pulled me aside so no one could hear and said I don't really donate money I just use the money to pay my bills. I just say it is something related to what I really spent it on. Lmao she always was one my favorite cousins lmao.

How have they managed to avoid every single Christmas movie special their entire lives?

Lol if you're a teenager why you gonna go beg others for free sweets? Have you never read Attack of the Jack-o'-lanterns by R.L. Stine? The kids there admit that once you're 13 you're too old for trick or treating.
