Lmao O that is funny because see I am a subteacher and trust me recess is not for the teachers lol they still have to work them. Though they do switch off what recess they work like 2 the first 2 the second. And what have you depending on how many teachers are for each grade and how many grades are at recess area at that time. Like I been to one school where ALL the kindergarten teachers must be on recess duty because it had only 2 teachers and they didn't share their recess times with anyone.

Wait; we get breaks during recess?! Awesome! I guess I can just leave my class to fend for themselves tomorrow. I'm sure at least 75% of them will make it back unscathed.....yeah, probably won't have a Hunger Games situation going on or anything....aw crap, I still have to go out there and be on duty, don't I?

Usually, half of the teachers eat during lunch and the other half eat during recess. Are you also suggesting that we only let kids eat lunch so we can have a break?

When I did work experience recess was not our break, we would pick our times and sometimes we picked during recess so while the kids ate we could go out and just chill. Usually it is wise to pick your break during the kids chaos though :P

It's for the kids because at that age attention spans tend to be short and they generally have energy to burn.
