I beckon the the lost and searching to my domain, each comes to me hoping to fill a void. As they meander through rows of trinkets they graze their fingers across the products born of despair and only too late realize that what I've sold them wrapped in the thin foil of hope is not some sliver of relief, but yet another void. I walk, each day, around my territory, calmly watching the many creatures that line my walls. Some, I discard, some, I pick apart and give new life. They stare at me with their dead eyes, void of happiness or fear. They never thank me. They never greet me. Or, well, some do. But they are the ones that haven't yet realized why they're here. (i work at a vintage toy store, though that is creepy in itself)

I lead the young ones on the backs of beasts 4 times their size, that could easily bite their hands off if given the chance. (Pony rides)

I wake up when it's dark outside, after only 6 hours of sleep, ans go join a group of people that have randomly be assigned to me based on a common interest. We dedicate our time to seemingly idolize another group of randomly assigned people. In an attempt of becoming them, we ingest their thoughts and every word for hours on end. Then on two special week each year we write it down, summarized, so that group B can read their own knowledge, and then we repeat it for another year, and another year, and another year. (student).

Daily, I evaluate and judge the cost of human life and determine how best to risk the deaths of countless travelers upon the roadways. Little do they know the horrors beneath their wheels and how little care is given towards fixing these. A politician is up for reelection and wants the road to his district resurfaced, no money to fix that bridge with critical scour this year (again). So much damage, so few funds, I've just recently given up caring how many will suffer the crashes and flames. (Highway maintenance engineer- TXDOT).
