Look, I'm just semi-crazy. I clean my house and I scrub my toilet. That doesn't mean you aren't going to end up in a tub of acid somewhere in South Jersey. So, we down or what?
Don’t say that:
Someone broke your heart.
My attitude gives you heartburn.
That post gave you cancer.
These are serious illnesses, not things you should use to describe normal emotions.
Wait, yes they are. They are simply metaphors.
Why don’t you suck my ass. If I’m feeling anxious, but not diagnosed as having anxiety who’re you to tell me how I’m supposed to feel? You’re just making yourself look like a victim. Fuck off, don’t tell me what to do and don’t take things so literally.
depression is the term used for both a disorder and an emotion just as anxiety is term used for both a disorder and an emotion however OCD and bipolar have no association with an emotion and usage of those and others like them frivolously is a douche move
That would be because your comment is objectify wrong in the context of the post. You must have taken political 101. You commented on what you wanted to have been said instead of what the post actually said. No where in the post did it say to not express your emotions. It says to not downplay disorders by claiming that a single stereotypical outward sign of a serious disorder means that you have said disorder. There is an extreme difference between saying "I'm feeling anxious" and saying "I'm suffering from anxiety. The first is an expression of an emotion. The second is a lamentation of distress caused by a debilitating mental illness.
You should not use the term “political 101”. It downplays those people who have legitimate Political Science degrees. It’s their word to use, not yours.
@dash224 is the one with whom you have been arguing. I have merely been making fun of you and the rest of the Uptight Citizens Brigade because you are seemingly incapable of humor on this topic.
While you shouldn't say that you have a serious issue for attention you also shouldn't doubt your own problems existence in fear of offending others. Do research on your symptoms (keeping in mind source criticism) and see what action you should take. Mental illnesses in particular are affected by a million factors so don't just take one persons word for it.
@cactuscake. You know damn well when ever you search your symptoms online you’re gonna have cancer an gonna die within a couple of hours. From stubbing your baby toe to haveing a panic attack they all end up with you having cancer an gonna die like within an hr or so. Soooooo I’m just gonna help everyone with any doubt about their symptoms. YALL HAVE CANCER AN GONNA DIE!!!
