For anyone who may not speak guest as fluently as the rest of us - what he said roughly translates to: "trololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololol"
I guess he's only being a douche, but if someone thinks this may have some kind of thruth; this topic was studied and there's no difference between being raised by a heterosexual couple or a same sex couple
It's astonishing that there is no difference. My thinking is that a homosexual couple won't get a baby unless they both want to in majority of cases, while in the heterosexual case, there are many more complications. I may be completely wrong but that's my thinking.
I believe theyre saying for homosexuals to have a baby they either have to do fertilization plans involving external parties (which usually requires doctor visits/hospitalization, and a lot of money), adoption (which requires a lot of back and forth for interviews/inspections etc), surrogacy, or one of them has to sleep with an external party member of the opposite gender.
'
In almost all of these scenarios the partner has to be at the very least aware of what's going on, and often consent to it before things can proceed.
'
Heterosexual couples can have "accidents," on the other hand (condom breaking/forgetting to take a pill/etc), or even malicious entrapment (ie: poking holes in a condom), and once one of them is pregnant, the other has no real options in what comes next
They're legally obligated to be financially responsible for the child, and if the woman decides NOT to have it, there's also nothing they can do to stop that.
'
Admittedly this could be the case if a lesbian or surrogate for gay men got pregnant and decided to have an abortion, but since most homosexual pregnancies are deliberately planned and considered, the odds are much lower.
'
I could be wrong, but that's what I believe asteroid was getting at when they said "complications"
Oh, now i understand
Well, i see your point, but i was talking about the raising part, considering the child to be already in the family hahah
I know nothing about how undesired children are raised, i guess It could affect them, but i haven't read any studies on it
Sorry I didn't make it clear enough. Whatever @xvarnah said. I should only add that I meant those unwanted children will suffer in my opinion. however I admit I haven't seen any studies on it because I haven't searched yet.
