Is no one going to point out the fact that he recorded his ex girlfriend having sex without her consent or knowledge? That is creepy, invasive, gross, and probably illegal.

It's entirely possible that he had cameras up to make sure his roommate wasn't stealing his stuff or wrecking the place and he caught it by accident. Especially if his name was on the lease and he was responsible for the security deposit.
